There’s something truly special about milestone birthdays, and this 70th celebration was one we won’t forget anytime soon. Recently, the Hog Roast London team had the pleasure of catering for a wonderful birthday gathering, an intimate but lively event filled with family, friends, laughter, and, of course, the unmistakable aroma of a perfectly roasted hog.
The party took place at the client’s home in London, where the atmosphere was warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Our team set up early to ensure everything was ready before guests began to filter in. As the hog slowly roasted, its crackling turning that irresistible golden colour, the anticipation built. Nothing 
draws a crowd quite like the sight, and smell, of a traditional hog roast cooking to perfection.
For this special occasion, the family chose our classic hog roast menu, slow-roasted free-range hog served with crunchy crackling, homemade apple sauce, and fresh bread rolls. To complement the main attraction, we prepared a selection of vibrant salads, roasted new potatoes, and a vegetarian option to make sure every guest felt included.
Once carving time arrived, guests gathered eagerly, sharing stories and reminiscing while we served generous portions of succulent pork. The birthday guest of honour was all smiles as they enjoyed the first serving, an honour we’re always delighted to uphold!
What made this event particularly touching was the sense of togetherness. Three generations came together to celebrate a life well-lived, and we were thrilled to help bring everyone around the table.
