You may well know Hog Roast Bexleyheath as providers of amazing traditional centrepiece hog roasts – after all, they’re a part of our name. But did you know that we offer so much more as well? We can also cook spit-roasted meat, like chicken, turkey, lamb or beef, or something a bit more exotic if preferred, as well as barbecued or marinated meats, so there’s plenty of variety to satisfy your carnivore guests. Nevertheless, we also have many options to suit those who don’t eat meat, like vegetarians, vegans and pescatarians, as well as suitable dishes for those with an intolerance or allergy.
As well as a wealth of mains for you and your guests to choose from, we can also provide additional options, including handmade canapés and homemade starters, desserts and side dishes, so you can always be sure that bigger appetites will be covered as well as diets when it comes to hiring the services of Hog Roast Bexleyheath.
When Jessica booked us to cater her mum’s 70th birthday party, she wanted to ensure that everyone invited could enjoy our food, and when she found out about our Southern Slow Roast Menu, she knew it would be ideal. With this versatile menu, you get to choose three meats and four hot or cold sides, and there’s a vegetarian option included if needed too, which Jessica needed for two of the thirty guests.
After conferring with everyone invited to the celebration, Jessica decided on the three meats of barbecued pork butt, beef brisket and spicy lamb, the sides of corn cobettes, mac and cheese, sweet potato wedges with a kick and our homemade coleslaw, as well as the vegetarian main of grilled vegetable and halloumi wraps served with a Tzatziki sauce.
On the day of the milestone birthday party, our Hog Roast Bexleyheath team cooked up a storm with this amazing menu, firstly by roasting the marinated meats low and slow for hours. Later on in the day, as the meats sizzled away, we freshly prepared and cooked the hot sides, made our coleslaw and grilled the skewers, and by 7pm, we had a truly lovely feast awaiting the hungry guests.
