In preparation for Father’s Day, Alice contacted Hog Roast Acton to arrange catering for an event she was planning with her siblings. The group were planning on hosting a gathering at Alice’s home, with each of their families, plus parents and grandparents in attendance. The gathering would be a celebration for all of the fathers in their lives and they thought it would be a fun opportunity to gather together as a group and make the most of the day. To allow all of the guests to make the most of the event, Hog Roast Acton had been hired to provide a delicious hog roast for the occasion, leaving our team to deal with the food prep, cooking, and clearing away. A classic hog roast sounded like the ideal menu for this event and was sure to go down a treat.

On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Acton team arrived at Alice’s home in the morning, giving us over five hours to roast the hog to perfection on-site. Once the meat was packed full of natural juices and flavours, it was expertly carved by our chef and served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. To ensure that there was something for everyone to enjoy, we also provided succulent pork sausages and veggie sausages. For the side dishes, the guests could also enjoy roasted baby potatoes and a variety of seasonal salad options. Overall, our menu was the perfect addition to this event and was a great success with all of their fathers and their families!
